Hey Friend,
I’m Levon Sharrow — a Canadian designer crafting notable experiences for iconic brands and humanitarian causes. These days, I’m the Experience Design Director at Patagonia.
Work History
Unrelenting empathy & observational curiosity have been the major pillars in my design approach. My foundation was built on an emphasis for graphic design standards, and has evolved naturally to experiential and interactive mediums. I see design as a set of multiple tools in a toolkit, including the way you lead people and influence outcomes.

Experience Design Director
March 2020-Present
Global director and team manager of the Experience Design function at Patagonia — a complimentary pairing of User Experience and Content Design Teams. Day to day, I lead squad-based teams of designers to create brand storytelling and commerce focused experiences for Patagonia‘s key customer touchpoints in digital. In my tenure, I’ve directed multiple creative campaigns and experience strategies for product launches and environmental initiatives that have garnered global earned media (The President Stole Your Land), business growth (Omnichannel Re-design) and environmental impact (Blue Heart of Europe). Lately, one major objective has been leading a mixed discipline team through the integration of browsing, trading and buying new and used clothing online.

Senior Designer, Digital Innovation
(Mar 2015–May 2016)As part of the Nike Global Innovation team, my focus was on transforming the visual design and user experience of Nike.com, with a focus on personalization. My role was to lead and collaborate with agency partners to develop best in class interactive work for Nike. The complexity in aligning user journeys, brand strategy and storytelling content at a global scale also factors into the process beyond visual design and user experience.

My duties have run the gamut from hands-on pixel precision design, and art direction, to solving complicated user experience challenges. -

In my role, I worked across both product marketing and product to bring visual and experiential cohesion representative of the brand identity and product experience. In my time, I designed a refreshed UI system by collaborating broadly with engineers, marketing, ux and senior leadership. I was fortunate to play a key role in bringing disciplines together by visualizing the end to end customer journey from initial marketing assets through to functional software screens. -
